With just a few simple ingredients you can make this Bisquick™ Pancakes recipe.
Original Bisquick™ Baking Mix: Using Bisquick™ simplifies the recipe (and saves you time) by combining multiple dry ingredients into one.
Milk: Hydrates the mix, allowing all the ingredients to combine into a pourable batter.
Vegetable Oil: The oil helps create a tender and moist pancake. It also gives the pancakes a nice golden color.
Eggs: Eggs are binders, they hold the batter together and give structure to the pancakes.
Here's how to make these delicious Bisquick™ Pancakes in simple steps. See the full recipe below for all the details.
Grease your griddle or skillet with a little vegetable oil or cooking spray and heat.
Stir the batter just until the ingredients are blended. Lumps are okay! Overmixing develops gluten, which can make your pancakes tough instead of fluffy.
Cook for about 1 minute 30 seconds, or until you see bubbles forming on the top and the edges look dry. Only flip the pancakes once! Repeated flipping toughens them and prevents them from browning properly.
Pancakes are best enjoyed fresh off the griddle, but you can certainly store them to enjoy later! The key is to cool them properly and choose the right storage method for how long you want to keep them.
Stack the pancakes with parchment paper or wax paper between each one. Place the stack in an airtight container or a resealable plastic bag. Store for up to 3 days. To reheat, use a microwaveable plate and microwave on High for 10 to 15 seconds or until heated through.
Freeze leftover Bisquick™ pancakes stacked between sheets of waxed paper, then wrapped in foil or in a plastic freezer bag. Store for up to 1 month. To reheat, unwrap pancakes and remove waxed paper. Place 1 pancake at a time on a microwaveable plate and microwave on High for 30 to 60 seconds or until heated through.

Grease griddle or skillet with vegetable oil or spray with cooking spray. Heat over medium-high heat or set electric griddle to 375°F. (Surface is ready when a few drops of water sprinkled on it dance and disappear.)
In a large bowl, stir all ingredients until blended.

For each pancake, pour scant ¼ cupfuls of batter onto the hot griddle.

Cook until edges are dry; about 1 minute 30 seconds. Turn; cook an additional 1 minute 30 seconds or until golden brown. Makes 14 pancakes.
For thinner pancakes, increase milk to 1⅓ cups.
Cook these pancakes on a true cast-iron griddle or in a large cast-iron skillet. Use a ¼-cup measuring cup to scoop the batter onto the hot pan (it’s ready when a drop of water sizzles on the surface), then don’t turn them until they puff up and bubbles form on top. Flip pancakes once, cooking until just golden brown.
