This incredibly delicious peaches and cream pie was brought back from our archives for our Found Recipes cookbook. We were once again reminded what makes these pies so special—the iconic Bisquick™ batter forms both a bottom and top crust without the need to make and roll out pasty.
We loved the old-fashioned flavor of this peach pie--the fruity filling includes whipping cream, cinnamon, and nutmeg to surround the peaches in a custard-like layer while bringing out their best flavor. And did we mention you don’t have to wait until it’s peach season to enjoy this pie? Canned sliced peaches taste delicious in this recipe without the need to do any peeling.
But this peaches and cream pie recipe doesn’t stop there. What really got our attention was the almond streusel that is sprinkled over the top of the pie before it’s baked. It adds a sweet crunch that’s a delight to sink your teeth into.
Our experts agree it’s practically a crime to serve this pie without some billowy sweetened whipped cream to go with it. The luscious creamy flavor heightens the taste of the peaches and spiced custard in a magical way. You’re sure to get many “mmm-mms” when you serve this pie—and requests to make it again soon!

This pie is even more indulgent when topped with sweetened whipped cream. To make it, beat 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, 1 tablespoon powdered or granulated sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla in a medium bowl with electric mixer on low speed until the mixture begins to thicken. Gradually increase speed to high and beat until soft peaks form.
