How do you make homemade churros? Easy! Follow this Betty Crocker™ easy homemade churro recipe for a cinnamon and sugar sprinkled Mexican pastry that comes together with Bisquick™ mix. It only takes 35 minutes to go from prep, to perfection!

If you don’t have pastry tips, you can still make churros! Instead of using a pastry bag, place the dough in gallon-size resealable food-storage bag. Cut 1/2-inch from one corner of the bag. Squeeze bag to form strips as directed in Step 3.

Churros with Chile-Chocolate Sauce: In small microwavable bowl, mix 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips and 1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper. Microwave uncovered on Medium (50%) 1 minute; stir. Continue to microwave in 10-second increments until mixture can be stirred smooth. Serve with churros.

The center of the cheesecake layer should no longer jiggle when you gently shake the pan. If it still wobbles, give it a few more minutes.&nbsp;

How do I know when the cheesecake layer is set? 

For a chocolate-covered delight, dip one end of each cooled churro into melted chocolate candy coating (almond bark), and place on waxed paper until set.

Make Ahead Freezing Directions:Make dough as directed; drop by tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheet lined with cooking parchment paper. Freeze until firm. Place frozen dough in an airtight container or resealable freezer food storage bag; freeze up to 2 months. To bake, place frozen puffs on cookie sheets sprayed with cooking spray and bake as directed.

Make-Ahead Directions:After filling, cream puffs can be refrigerated up to 3 hours. Drizzle with chocolate just before serving.
